Senior-level Google Ads management. Entry-level price.
18 years managing Google Ads across hundreds of accounts. No outsourcing, no junior account managers, no hand-offs. AI handles the busywork, so you get senior-level management starting at $250/month. Built for businesses already spending $1,500+/month on Google Ads.

Sound familiar?
You signed with an agency and never talked to the person doing the work. The senior person sold you, and someone else manages you.
Google keeps calling with "recommendations."Most of them spend more of your money.
You can't tell what Performance Max is doing.Budget goes in, and a blended number comes out.
Your management fee goes up every time your ad budget does, even when nothing about the work changed.
You're paying for clicks you'd never want.Nobody has looked at your search terms in months.
If any of these hit home, a 15-minute look will tell us a lot.
How I'm different
One person doing the work is the whole point.
One person, start to finish.
I build your account, I manage it, and I'm the one you talk to. Nothing gets outsourced, overseas or otherwise.
AI does the repetitive work, and I make the calls.
I use AI to audit search terms, flag waste, draft ad variations, and build reports. That work used to eat hours of billable time, which is why management like this used to cost $1,000+ a month and now doesn't.
Flat, published pricing.
You pay no percentage of your ad spend and no surprise setup fees. Everything I charge is listed on this page.
You own everything.
Your Google Ads account, your data, and your conversion tracking all stay with you. If we stop working together, you keep all of it.
My AI and Google's AI
Google's AI is one system built for millions of advertisers. It optimizes toward whatever signal it's given and fills every gap with its own defaults. It doesn't know your margins, which leads actually close, or who your best customer is.
So I don't hand it the keys. For every account, I set up my own AI layer that works alongside Google's:
Customized to your business.
Before anything runs, I set it up around your goals, your target customer, your margins, your service area, and what a good lead or sale looks like for you specifically.
Working with Google's AI, not against it.
Smart Bidding, Performance Max, and AI Max all have their place. My layer feeds Google better signals and watches what it does with them.
Guardrails set in advance.
Each client gets predetermined limits: cost-per-lead ceilings, budget caps, blocked search terms, and which products or services get priority. Automation works inside those lines, never outside them.
Every decision vetted.
Nothing is auto-applied. Google's recommendations and my AI's flags both come to me first, and I approve or reject each one.
I bring in Google's automation once your account has enough conversion data for it to work. For some accounts that's month two. For others it never makes sense, and that's fine.
Google began auto-upgrading many Search campaigns to AI Max this September. If you haven't checked what changed in your account, that's a good reason to book a review.
What my AI actually does
One month of search terms on an ecommerce account, start to finish.
- 1What came in1,146 terms
$8,420 in spend over 30 days.
- 2What AI sorted4 buckets
Every term is scored on two things: intent quality (does this search match what you sell and who buys it?) and performance (is there enough data to judge it?).
- Block41
Low intent, like job searches, DIY how-tos, and freebies. These get blocked on quality alone, not because they missed a conversion.
- Bid up12
High quality and beating the ROAS target.
- Bid down18
High quality but running under target. Worth keeping, just not at this price.
- Keep watching63
High quality, but not enough spend yet to judge. In a competitive market, a few clicks with no sale doesn't mean a bad term.
- 3What I approved38 of 41 blocks
I kept 3 "parts" searches the AI flagged, because this store sells replacement parts. Bid changes applied within the account's guardrails.
- 4The result3.1x → 3.8x
ROAS over the next 30 days.
Who I work with
-
Lead generation
Law firms, B2B, financial services, and anyone who needs form fills and calls rather than sales. I focus on cost per qualified lead, not just volume.
-
Local service businesses
HVAC, plumbing, roofing, med spas, gyms, and home services. I tighten geo-targeting, schedule ads around call hours, build Local Services Ads alongside Search, and make sure every call is tracked.
-
Ecommerce
Shopping, Performance Max, and product feeds. I split out products by margin and performance, so your best sellers get budget and your dead weight doesn't.
Every account gets a live dashboard
You shouldn't have to wait for a monthly PDF or log into Google Ads to know how things are going. Every client gets a dashboard that updates automatically and is built around the exact numbers your business runs on, whether that's booked jobs, qualified leads, or revenue by product line.
- Spend, leads or sales, and cost per result
- Trends week over week and month over month
- The search terms that drove results, and the ones I've blocked
- What I changed and why
- ac repair near me21 jobs
- emergency furnace repair12 jobs
- hvac jobsblocked
- free ac inspectionblocked
- Tue Paused ads after 9pm: calls went to voicemail.
- Mon Raised bids in 3 zip codes with the highest close rate.
- Fri Added 19 negatives from the weekly search term review.
How it works
- 1
15-minute review.
You share your screen and show me your account. I'll give you a few specific recommendations on the call, whether we end up working together or not.
- 2
Audit and cleanup Week 1
I check conversion tracking, remove wasted spend, and rebuild what isn't structured to succeed.
- 3
Launch and tighten Weeks 2–4
I review search terms, test ads, and adjust bids as real data comes in.
- 4
Ongoing management.
You get weekly optimization, a live dashboard, and direct access to me.

I'm Tom.
I've been managing Google Ads for 18 years, across hundreds of accounts, from local service businesses to 7- and 8-figure ecommerce brands.
I started ResponsivePPC because small businesses were stuck choosing between agencies that cost too much and hand them off to juniors, and "set it and forget it" tools that let Google spend freely.
AI changed the math. I can now give a $2,000/month advertiser the same attention I used to reserve for accounts ten times that size.
Results
- Home services−38%Cost per lead in 60 days
A roofing company was paying for "roof repair jobs" and "DIY shingle" clicks. Tightened search terms and geo-targeting to their service area.
- Ecommerce2.4x → 4.1xROAS in 90 days
An outdoor gear store had one Performance Max campaign for 600 products. Split products by margin so best sellers got the budget and low-margin items stopped draining it.
- Lead gen+62%Qualified leads, same spend
A B2B software firm was getting plenty of form fills, mostly students and job seekers. Rebuilt conversion tracking around sales-qualified leads and bid toward those.
Questions, answered
Anything else, ask me on the call.
Who is this a fit for?
Businesses with an active Google Ads account averaging $1,500+/month in spend over the last three months. That history gives me real data to optimize from on day one, instead of spending your budget to find it. If you're not there yet, I'll tell you on our call and point you in the right direction.
Do I own my Google Ads account?
Yes, always. I work inside your account with manager access. You keep everything if we part ways.
Is there a contract?
No. Service is month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.
How can you charge so much less than agencies?
AI handles the repetitive work that used to take hours: search term reviews, reporting, and first drafts of ads. I spend my time on the decisions that actually move results. There's also no office, no sales team, and no account managers to pay for.
Do you use Performance Max and AI Max?
Yes, when your account has enough conversion data for them to work. When I do, they run inside the guardrails I set for your account, and I review what they're doing every week.
Will I be working with you directly?
Yes. There's no one else.
Do you manage Microsoft Ads or Meta Ads?
Yes. Microsoft Ads is available alongside Google Ads, and it often picks up cheaper clicks from the same searches. I also manage Meta Ads for accounts spending up to $10,000/month there.
Show me your account. I'll show you what I'd change.
